Learn from the peak, not the average

I was listening to Harvard Professor TalBen Shahar’s course about positive psychology. He stated that “When we study our average, we are describing our lives. When we study the best within ourselves, we’re potentially prescribing.” To study the average is underrating one’s own potential. Here I’m not saying that we should always be striving for the best. We need to use the techniques success when we need to.

The lectures with Chinese subtitles are available here.
