Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.
Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple and one of the most influential figures in the world, has passed away (see news here).
He is not only a genius intellectually, but also an inspiring leader. He influences the world by his spirits. In his speech at Stanford Commencement 2005, he explained why he dropped out of school. This requires courage, confidence, and deep insights about himself as well as the world. He didn’t stop learning though. He took classes he was interested and accumulated knowledge about typology, which was adopted in the design of the first Mac.
Being fired from Apple is “the best thing that could have happened to me” according to him. He became a beginner again. He founded NeXT and acquired Pixar. They later became leading companies in the industry. He loves what he does. This allows him to strive for the best he can.
Rest in peace, Steve Jobs. Thank you for all you have done and will continuing doing.
